The NEW 2009 Pro Series Explorer
Many of the great
fisheries of the Northwest also require some of the longest runs
in all types of conditions. Fish enough and you know eventually
you will encounter the strong northwest elements: wind, swells,
chop and slop. If you own a Boulton Pilot House boat these rough
water conditions are much less stressful and a lot more
comfortable.

New to the Boulton Powerboats lineup of Pilot House models is
the all New Pro Series Explorer. The Pro Series Explorer was
designed for the rugged offshore waters of the West Coat. With
its new 84" step bottom and 16 degree Vee this boat will perform
well in extreme water conditions and provide a smooth
comfortable ride. The boat is powered with twin 250hp Yamaha's
with speeds up to 50+ mph and the fly by wire system plus dual
helms give you all the push and nimble control you will ever
need. This year the designers at Boulton have added a bow
thruster to the fleet; this is one of the best features needed
on any offshore boat for easy maneuvering into docks slips and
trailering your boat. Another great feature when docking is the
boats pocket dive door, for easy access when loading equipment
and boarding the boat.
The cabin of the new Pro Series Explorer offers top of the
line amenities, with its 2 sky light hatches that are fixed over
the driver and passenger for extra ventilation and light to the
10 flush mounted lights in the ceiling and v berth. These give
brightness to every corner of the boat at all times. At the helm
this boat is equipped with a Garmin 5212 touch screen, GMR18HD
radar, dual station VHF radio, remote spotlight, all at your
finger times and easy to read. Yamaha digital gauges and
controls, bow docking lights and a Lewmar windless anchor
system. The designers at Boulton have upgraded the wiring to
ABYC, this will insure you will have no problems out at sea, and
will meet all codes. They have added a DeckScan 20/20-color day/nite-
fixed wide camera so you will have a full view of your rods and
deck from both helms at all time. These features are great and
give you all the control you need while fishing.
Some of the other great features you will notice is the 2
air ride seats, dinette, a galley with flush mount stove and
lots of extra storage above the helm. They have thought of a lot
of great details and layed them out carefully. Walk thru the new
sliding door to the aft helm and you see what I mean. The aft
helm is equipped with a Garmin 5008 touch screen, Yamaha digital
controls and lots of storage. There are 16 anodized rod holders
placed in perfect locations for ease of fishing. They have added
4 Cannon Digitroll V downriggers for the serious fisherman,
electric crab davit, and they have made the bait tank rounded so
your bait won't dies so easy, plus a nice cutting board on top.
There is a large in floor fish box and 2 large in-floor storage
boxes that ads allot of room needed in a boat. The floors are
composite base making them last a long time even in the harsh
conditions of the salt water. The boat also has a fresh look
with a polished bottom, white paint and the new Boulton
graphics.
The New Pro Series Explorer is going to set a new standard in
the industry, stop by the factory or Sports Show to see the new
2009 Pro Series Explorer. There are a lot of companies clamming
to be "Legends", but there is only one Legacy Boulton
Powerboats, Inc.
